Description

The US Army Research Laboratory, Weapons and Materials Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, plans to issue a Request for Proposals for the purchase of a (TEC) Model 4000 X-Ray Diffraction System, manufactured by Technology for Energy Corporation, 10737 Lexington Drive, Knoxville, TN 37392-3294, on a Brand Name or Equal basis. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested firms have 15 days to submit in writing via FAX 410-278-6522 to the identified point of contact, an offer for equipment meeting the above specific requirements. The Government will award on the basis determined most advantageous and determined to be in the best interest of the Government. Delivery date, price, and past performance will also be considered. Responses received after the 15 days or without the required information will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis and will not be considered. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be accepted in response to this notice.
