Description

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Bruker Instruments, Inc for the following: A 300 MHz Ultra Shield Magnet, Triple Gradient and 5mm TXI probe upgrade for a DRX NMR Spectrometer and installation. The award will be made in accordance FAR Subpart 12.6 Streamline Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Test program for Certain Commercial Items. The following FAR Clauses shall apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, 52.212-4 Contract terms and Conditions Electronic Funds Transfer, and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes for Executive Orders-Commercial Items. All responsible sources that can provide and meet the above requirements shall submit written quotations by the due date referenced above. The award is being issued on a sole source basis because the company is the manufacturer of the equipment with no resellers.
