- Description
- The government has a requirement for the repair of numerous components of the APQ-170 radar system for the Combat Talon II (MC-130H) aircraft. The gov't is seeking to establish a requirements contract for this effort. There are 74 various components that will require repair, with the major ones being: NSN 5985-01-451-0376SO P/N: 881500-425, NSN: 5985-01-454-7233SO, P/N: 881652-309 and 40-00027-2, NSN: 5841-01-454-8452SO, P/N 882550-319, NSN:5985-01-451-6320SO, P/N: 881400-425. The gov't will require a basic contract, with 3 annual options. Any/all options will be evaluated prior to award. This effort will be a "bridge contract" used while the gov't seeks to establish the ability to repair these items "in-house". FOR: Sole Source: Systems and Electronics, Inc., St Louis, MO 63121-1126. Delivery: 30 days after receipt of repairable, or order, whichever is later. Packaging will be IAW AFMC Fm 158 that will be attached to the RFQ. NOTES: CBD Notes 22 and 26 apply. Local Notes: All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contacting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
