Description

The USDA, Forest Service, Olympic National Forest, Olympia WA has the requirement for Aluminum Box Culvert. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announce-ment constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. R6-OLY-1-36-O is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. North American Industry Classification System Code 421840 with a corresponding size standard of 100 employees applies to qualify as a small business. Line Item 1 ALBC #29A, 15'-1" span X 5'-8" rise Aluminum Box Culvert with full aluminum invert and aluminum toewalls, including all necessary assembly hardware, quantity of 17.0 m (58.5'). Additional Specifications: (1) Minimum Cover 4 HS-20 Loading 3.0', (2) Maximum Cover for HS-20 Loading 5.0', (3) Minumum 4000 psf bearing capacity required for full aluminum invert. Delivery of the culvert shall be within 6 weeks after receipt of the purchase order and shall be delivered to: Cushman Pit Forest Service (FS) Rd. 24 near Hoodsport WA. To get to the pit follow SR119 to FS Rd. 24 junction, turn right onto FS Rd. 24, follow Rd. 24 for 0.8 miles to Cushman pit access road which is on the left. Notification of delivery required 48 hours in advance. Prices should reflect that they are FOB Destination. Price will include everything identified above.
