Description

CBD DRAFT Dredging Fuel Pier Channel and Yacht Marina Channel, Langley Air Force Base, Hampton Virginia. The project consists of Base Bid dredging at a Fuel Pier Channel to a required depth of 13 feet MLLW and Optional Bid Item dredging at the Yacht Marina to a required depth of 5 feet MLLW, each with one foot of allowable overdepth. The contract will contain an additional Base Bid Item for the preparation, maintenance, and final grading of an upland placement site for dredged material. The sites of the work are located on Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia. The Contractor shall perform the scheduled work with a hydraulic dredge and pipeline and place the dredged material in the same Government-furnished placement area as indicated for each respective dredging area. The work, including allowable overdepth and estimated accretion, at the Fuel Pier Channel involves dredging approximately 220,000 cubic yards of material, and at the Yacht Marina Channel involves dredging approximately 2,000 cubic yards of material. Period of performance is 120 calendar days. This is a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE PROCUREMENT. Applicable SIC code is 1629, with a size standard of $27.5 million. The NAICS code is 23499.
