Description

WMATA is soliciting proposals to be submitted of separate Technical & Cost Proposals for a Design-Build project that includes design-build and construction services for a multi-level parking structure located in Fairfax County, VA, adjacent to the existing Franconia-Springfield Station Parking through a "Best Value" procurement method. Work includes, but not limited to, performing project management, design and field engineering, and QC/QA duties, construction and installation functions. The Base contract will be for design of a six-level, pre-cast, pre-stress concrete parking structure connected by a ramp system and the construction of a six-level structure. The proposed structure will be connected to an existing six-level parking structure by way of additional parking on levels 1 & 2, and by way of 2 vehicular bridges, per level, on level 3 -- 6.
