Description

The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing the East Bank Mississippi River Levee, Yazoo Backwater Levee, Levee Surfacing, Item 2, in Washington, Bolivar, Issaquena and Warren Counties, Mississippi. Principal features of the work include preparation of existing surfacing; furnishing, hauling, placing, compacting and dressing new sand-clay-gravel or crushed stone surfacing on levee crown and ramps; and providing environmental protection. All units of measure are metric. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $100,000.00 AND $500,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office WEB PAGE at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/ and on COMPACT DISC AT NO CHARGE.
