Description

Sources Sought. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, intends to issue a solicitation to provide Administrative Services for Commander, Naval Surface Force, Pacific and subordinate commands. Services include, but are not limited to, Accounting Services, Civilian Timekeeping Services, Legal Services, Public Affairs Services, Administrative Support Services and Credentials and Health Care Quality Assurance Services. This CBD Announcement is the second announcement posted in regards to this requirement. The services, which are currently provided by Government personnel, were announced for commercial activity cost comparison study in accordance with OMB Circular A-76. Interested parties are invited to access, review, and comment on our Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) located at www.sd.fisc.navy.mil, Business Opportunities, Draft Solicitation, Administrative Services. Interested parties are reminded that the draft PWS is a working document and is subject to revision before official solicitation. The intent of the study is to determine the most efficient and cost effective method of providing the services. It is anticipated that the contract type will be a firm-fixed price with award fee provisions. The contract is anticipated to contain a 60 day phase in period, a base period (expiring that same fiscal year), and four one year options. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small businesses. This acquisition will be conducted under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561110 (Office Administrative Services), which establishes a small business size standard of $5M.. Telephone and facsimile responses to this synopsis will not be accepted. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. It is currently anticipated that Solicitation N00244-01-R-0069 regarding this requirement will be released by August 31, 2001. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments resulting from this announcement will be available to interested parties via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) Web Site http://www.neco.navy.mil. It is the responsibility of interested parties to periodically monitor the NECO web sites for updates and new listings. The Government will not compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the government The government will not accumulate or post an electronic bidders list for this requirement. Interested parties are invited to submit "Notices of subcontracting opportunities" in accordance with FAR 5.206 or obtain potential bidders information from other commercially available resources.
