Description

Solicitation Number 01M008834 is being issued as a competitive requirement. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS), through the Program Support Center, plans to award a firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures. The CMHS, Special Program Development Branch's (SPDB) programs focus on special and emerging mental health issues for individual and their families cross the life span. In doing so, the Branch sponsors programs to promote the healthy development of children, decrease workplace and domestic violence, engage the faith community in relevant services for persons with mental illness, improve mental health services for refugees and survivors of torture, and define cultural competence standards for mental health service. The goal of this project is to provide a casebook of the experiences of selected School and Community Action grantees in developing youth violence prevention=20 collaboration and implementing youth service programs in communities. Requests for the Solicitation package must be in writing on company letterhead and can be faxed to the attention of Julia Savoy at 301-443-3849. The solicitation will be mailed on August 8, 2001 and proposals will be due August 24, 2001.
