Description

The Government intends to establish a sole source fixed quantity contract for essential repair of ACTS/ACMI repairable end items. Work shall be accomplished IAW Statement of Objectives and technical requirements. Item 0001, NSN 6625-00-127-2771TA, Data Test Set, Qty 13 EA. Item 0002, NSN 6250-00-489-3776TA, Data Test Set, Qty 2 EA. Item 0003, NSN 5998-00-084-6488TA, Signal Conditioner, Qty 4 EA. Item 0004, NSN 6920-00-322-0180TA, Condition Display Unit, Qty 1 EA. Delivery is 90 Days After receipt of repairable end item, to Hill AFB. Del Mar Avionics is the only known source that has the technical data, support equipment and expertise required to satisfactorily repair this asset. The approximate issue/response date will be 13 AUG 2001. The anticipated award date will be 31 AUG 2001. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. See our Web page. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
