Description

The Government has a requirement to inventory approximately 120 thousand acres of Forest on Fort Bragg and Camp MacKall. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, transportation, and equipment necessary to estimate merchantable timber volumes, basal areas, timber diameter distribution, and evaluate the foraging habitat of the red-cockaded woodpecker. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for Small Business. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 115310, threshold of 5 million, (formally known as Standard Industry Code (SIC) 0851). It is now a requirement that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with CCR (the website may be accessed on the internet at: www.ccr2000.com to register). Upon release to the public, the solicitation will be available via the internet at website: www.bragg.army.mil/www-fdoc/solicit.htm. Offeror's are responsible for routinely checking this web-site for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. No individual notification of any amendments will be provided. Offer due date and time will be included in the solicitation. Drawings and Technical Provisions for the project will be available in hard copy and shall be requested separately in writing. No telephone requests will be honored. Due to automation of the Bidder's Mailing List, certain pertinent information is required before vendors can be added to the list. It is therefore required that all written requests for drawings and technical provisions for the project include the vendor's business size, phone and facsimile numbers, street and email addresses, and DUNS and CAGE Numbers and indicate if they are actively registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Facsimile transmissions will also be accepted directly from the requestor.
