- Description
- The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) is planning to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of Shaft Assembly, Flex (Circuit Card), NSN 1680-01-279-5453, Commercial Part Number 78286/1125992, part of the Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) located within the UH-60 Army Blackhawk helicopter. This acquisition will be awarded on a sole source basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Stratford, Connecticut. The type of contract will be a five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a maximum quantity of 900 units over the life of the contract. Requirements shall be satified by delivery order on a firm-fixed-price basis. Delivery shall be 270 days from execution of an individual delivery order and continue at the rate of 50 units per month until complete. See Note 22. CECOM has established an Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) website to allow electronic transmittals of RFPs and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from CECOM to industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at (https://abop.monmouth.army.mil). For technical assistance with the IBOP, please contract the IBOP help desk, toll free, at 1-888-414-BOSS (2677). You may access potential CECOM business opportunities by simply typing "guest" for the login ID and password. Registration for a user ID and password will only be necessary when you are considering the submission of proposals to CECOM through the IBOP. Offers and Bids shall be submitted in hardcopy at the time and place specified in the solicitation, or electronically, if so stated in the solicitation. No bids shall be submitted directly to the Contracting Officer.
