Description

The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) is planning to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of Shaft Assembly, Flex (Circuit Card), NSN 1680-01-279-5453, Commercial Part Number 78286/1125992, part of the Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) located within the UH-60 Army Blackhawk helicopter. This acquisition will be awarded on a sole source basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Stratford, Connecticut. The type of contract will be a five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a maximum quantity of 900 units over the life of the contract. Requirements shall be satified by delivery order on a firm-fixed-price basis. Delivery shall be 270 days from execution of an individual delivery order and continue at the rate of 50 units per month until complete. See Note 22.
