Description
1. We are seeking suppliers for a commercial tank immersion type solvent degreaser used for maintenance operations with the following desired features: I. CHARACTERISTICS A. Capacity of 20 to 40 gallons of solution. B. Load and shock resistant when filled with solution and loaded with no less than 150 pounds of parts. C. Protective finish that is in accordance with the best practice of the commercial industry. II. COMPONENTS A. Cabinet that is leak free and acts as a reservoir for the solution, in addition to containing: 1. Soak tank equiped with method of dispersing compressed air at no less than 35 psi., and a method that allows overflow of solution and sludge to return to the main reservoir of the cabinet. 2. Work shelves located above the maximum level of the solution and are removable or fold flat. 3. Pump that is designed to handle fluids containing abrasive particles. 4. Flush hose of a flexible metal construction with a capacity of not less than 3 GPM delivered at the hose nozzle that delivers a stream of solution of not less than 3/8 inch in diameter including; a. Flush hose filter rated at no less than 50 microns and serviceable without draining the tank. b. Barrier filter rated at no less than 150 microns. 5. Controls -"Off-on" switch and Indicating light that indicates the degreaser is on or off. B. Cabinet cover of the fire-stop type that releases the cover allowing it to close at a temperature between 130 and 160 degrees Fahrenheit. C. Motor of 115 volt, 60 hertz, single phase, alternating current; continuous duty; with overload protection. D. Electric supply cable of not less than ten feet and terminating with a three prong grounding plug. E. Accessories -- A parts basket and a fiber parts-cleaning brush 2. Any sources capable of providing solutions to any or all of the requirements are requested to respond. Responses should provide detailed information about solutions, including a detailed technical description, National Stock Numbers/Part Numbers, estimated costs, etc. The response should also identify any previous contract(s), (contract number, dollar amount, Government POC's, program description, etc.) completed by the respondee. All interested firms, regardless of size are encouraged to respond to this announcement.
