Description

It is required that the Contractor transport, rebabbitt, machine, resurface and deliver the following: two Allis Chambers babbitt-lined guide bearings, one Newport News babbitt lined guide bearing, one set of six Kingsbury thrust bearings, one Newport News packing box journal sleeve, and one Pelton babbitt-lined guide bearing. Removal and installation of equipment will be performed by the Government at each site. The equipment shall be picked up and delivered to the Bureau of Reclamation's Eastern Colorado Area Office Warehouse, in Loveland, Colorado. The Request for Quotations shall be available on or around August 8, 2001 and the quotes are tentatively due on August 31, 2001. There is no charge for the first copy of the RFQ, additional sets may be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money ordder of $9.00 each. After issuance, the RFQ may be viewed without charge, at the Great Plains Regional Office, located at 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana, Room 2015. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3366. The North American Industrial Classification System is 331525. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. This is a Commercial Item Acquisition and is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
