Description

The Army requires a contract for the construction of an Environmental Branch Building at Hunter Army Airfield, GA. Work includes but is not restricted to the following: Provide fill dirt, grading and excavate and backfill for buildings and utilities. Provide and install concrete slabs for building and asphalt pavement for driveways. Erect Metal Building System, (some components provided by Government, some by contractor). Provide and install brick veneer, overhead doors & framing, metal roof systems, resilient flooring. Provide and install gypsum board walls and acoustic ceilings, paint systems for walls, doors and trim. Provide and install kitchen cabinets, plumbing fixtures and piping systems, toilet accessories, HVAC system and ductwork, electrical systems and lighting. The NAICS code for this project is 233320 and the size standard is $27.5M. Performance time is 180 days. Magnitude of the project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis and subject to the availability of funds. Once issued the solicitation may be downloaded from the website listed below. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. There is a Statutory Cost Limitation of $500,000.00, which applies to this project and includes any and all administrative costs associated with the project. ANTICIPATED ISSUE DATE IS AUGUST 7, 2001.
