Description

The government intends to exercise a one-year option under an existing contract for health care services in TRICARE Southwest Region 6. The period of performance of this option period is 1 November 2001 through 31 October 2002. The health care services include all functions to provide comprehensive managed care: including development of provider networks, claims processing, financing, and integration into the military's direct care system to serve all beneficiaries in the region. TRICARE Southwest Region 6 comprises the states of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and parts of Louisiana. The existing contract, contract number MDA906-95-C-0005, is with Health Net Federal Services, Inc. (HNFS) located at 3400 Data Drive, Rancho, Cordova, CA 95670. HNFS is the only known source that can meet the government's requirements within the required time period; thus, no solicitation will be issued and no offers accepted.*****
