- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command is issuing a sole source solicitation to Lockheed Martin, Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems (NE&SS) -- Undersea Systems (Syracuse) for up to 205,258 man-hours of additional engineering and technical support services over a five year period in support of the TB-16 Series (excluding TB-16F), TB-29 Towed Bodies and OA-9070/9070A Deployable Array Working Group (DAWG) Handlers and related equipment for FY02 -- FY06. This procurement for a base and four option years will provide continuing System, Development, Production, Training, Field, Depot and Integrated Logistics systems support services as well as evaluation, repair and upgrade services for the foregoing Towed Systems and Handlers, including spare parts, material for repairs, upgrades, and engineering changes to support reliability improvements and upgrades for Fleet assets. LM NE&SS-Undersea Systems (Syracuse) as the developer and primary integrator of the TB-16A, TB-16B, TB-16D, TB-16E and TB-29 Towed Systems is the only source qualified to perform the engineering and technical support services in the required timeframe.
