- Description
- The VA Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia is issuing this synopsis for a commercial service and this announcement constitutes a synopsis only. This procurement is not set aside for small business concerns but is issued on a full and open basis. The solicitation document will incorporate provision and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The applicable NAICS code for this solicitation is 811111, $5.0 million. The contractor shall provide full preventive maintenance on three (3) each Government-owned 1996 Ford 19000 tractors with 300 Caterpillar engines and eight (8) each Government-owned Monan trailers. In additiona, contractor to provide emergency on-road services for above equipment. The intended contract will be for the period October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002, with four (4) one-year renewal options. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about August 8, 2001, with bid due date of August 29, 2001 at 3:00PM.
