Description

The VA Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia is issuing this synopsis for a commercial service and this announcement constitutes a synopsis only. This procurement is not set asise for small business concerns but is issued on a full and open basis. The solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The applicable NAICS code for this solicitation is 811219, $5.0 million. The contractor shall provide quarterly preventive maintenance inspections and emergency repair services (eight (8) hours on-station response time) for the Casi-Rusco Card Reader Equipment and Computer Equipment. The intended contract will be for the period October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002, with four (4) one-year renewal options. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation will be issued on or about August 8, 2001, with bid due date of August 29, 2001 at 2:00PM.
