- Description
- Provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision required to provide professional Architect Engineering (A/E) Services for the design of an interior renovation of a duplex house into a Coast Guard Station Small. Renovations include new kitchen, baths, offices, HVAC, plumbing, new electrical service and fire alarm. Work to be performed for Civil Engineering Unit Cleveland, Cleveland, OH. House is located in Sheboygan, WI. Work shall include, development of final designs and construction contract documents. The design shall be completed within 90 calendar days from award. Rating criteria: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; 2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; including where appropriate experience in energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction and the use of recovered materials; 3) Use of AutoCAD r14 in accordance with CE-CADD Standards (CE-CADD Standards downloadable from www.uscg.mil/mlclant/cetc); 4) Capacity of the firm to accomplish a majority of the work in-house; 5) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; 6) Firms office shall be located within a 50 mile radius of Civil Engineering Unit Cleveland, Cleveland, OH; 7) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; and 8) Past experience with the U.S. Coast Guard and other Government Agencies. The SIC Code is 8712 NAICS 541330. The selected firm for this acquisition will be required to provide overhead, profit and hourly rates for disciplines to the Contracting Officer within seven working days after receiving notification of final selection. This will be a firm fixed price A/E under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (Acquisitions under $100K). This procurement is open to both large and small businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Act. Firms desiring consideration are invited to submit a SF-254 and SF-255 prior to the close of business on 23 August 2001. (The SF-254 and SF-255 may be obtained via the Internet through the Federal Acquisition Regulations Home Page.) In Block 10, state why your firm is specially qualified based on the selection evaluation criteria (supplemental pages may be added). Also, use Block 10 to provide additional information desired by your firm. Only the SF-254 ? SF-255 will be reviewed ? DO NOT SEND ANY OTHER LITERATURE. Experiences identified in Block 8 should not be more than five years old. The SF-254 and SF-255 shall be annotated with the RFP Number DTCG83-01-R-3WF356.
