Description

The Eglin Chapter of the Air Force Association and the Air Armament Center at Eglin AFB FL will be co-hosting the fourth-annual Air Armament Summit on 12 -- 14 March 2002. The Summits have grown significantly in both attendance and importance. The fourth annual Summit will again feature an array of distinguished speakers and will focus on matters of vital national/international interest. The Summit will review long-range planning for air armament to include armament technologies and sustainment, agile combat support, test & training ranges and modeling & simulation, and industrial-base issues. Due to space limitations, attendance will be by invitation only. Invitations will be limited to U.S. government, U.S. companies and selected international senior government representatives. The level of information to be shared is designed for company chief executive officers, presidents and other similar high-level positions. This announcement is for planning purposes only and does not constitute either an invitation to attend or for contracting of any nature. Acceptance of invitations for attendance at the Summit will be voluntary and will not create any obligation on the government. Parties interested in receiving an invitation to this function are requested to submit the following information not later than 16 November 2001: name, company, position title, address, phone number, e-mail address, security clearance of at least secret (through March 2002) and a summary of the company area of expertise.
