Description

The Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has a need for medical advisory services to assist in the review and analysis of medical documentation submitted by employees in accordance with Federal personnel regulations, precedent decisions of the Merit Systems Protection Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Office of Workers Compensation, Department of Labor. The advice, recommendations and support services must blend expert knowledge and experience about both management issues and related medical issues with the specific framework of regulations, case law and FDA internal management needs and requirements. Extensive knowledge and experience with the Americans With Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act as they relate to determination of reasonable accommodations is required. A one year contract plus four option years is anticipated. The solicitation will be available on or about 30 July 2001 on the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation and amendments.
