Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcment constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. The solicitation number N46450-01-T-0054 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) and is provided as a reference only. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is issued on a unrestricted basis, Sic code 7371, NAICS code 541511. SWFLANT, Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, GA requires renewal of annual maintenance contract on Solomon Software. Specific requirements include providing technical assistance in installation of software updates, interfacing with SWFLANT's ADP contractor, CST, to insure Solomon software is operationally compatible with SWFLANT's local area network system. In addition a two hour response time for system crashes and eight hour response time to correct other deficiencies is required.
