Description

Scheduled Delivery-Type Contract for a base year and four one-year options. Requirement is for Steam Cleaning Compound. The Compound shall be used to steam clean components but not limited to the following types of parts: roadwheel housings, fuel cells, idler arms, turbine and diesel engine components, various small component parts, engine containers, disassembled vehicle hulls, assembled components prior to final paint, and finished components prior to shipment or storage. The compound shall be delivered in 55 gallon non-returnable drums. Deliveries shall be in increments of 45 drums per month, delivered between the 1st and 15th of each month. A sample of 2 each, 55 gallon drums will be required of the apparent low bidder before time of award. Sample will be at no cost to the government. This requirement is a small business set-aside procurement. All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS Code) is 422690 and the business size is 100 employees. This Request for Quotation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102 (a) (7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This Request For Quotation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotations may render your quotation non-responsive and result in the rejection of your quotation.
