17. Requirements Type Contract, Firm Fixed Priced, from date of award for base year with options to renew for four (4) additional years, utilizing Competitive Negotiations Procedures for an RFP for the following 3 items: 1. 5980-01-031-8858, Photoresistor Cell Type C, estimated quantity 2790 each. 2. 5980-01-034-6058, Photoresistor Cell Type L, estimated quantity 1209 each. 3. 5980-01-045-5470, Photoresistor Cell Type R, estimated quantity 9901 each. NOTE: QUALIFIED PRODUCT REQUIRED. The Request For Proposal (RFP) will tentatively be issued on 08/03/01 via FedBizOpps at www.eps.gov. Hard copies of solicitation will NOT be issued. Specifications and drawing will be mailed to interested parties upon request via telefax at 410-762-6008. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the EPS system for the RFP and all subsequent amendments Solicitation documents will only be made available via the Internet at www.eps.gov via FedBizzOpps. Solicitation requests via mail will not be made available by this office. All to manufactured in strict accordance with U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center Purchase Description P-422-0137 including change 1 and 2 dated 2 November 1990 and associated Coast Guard drawing(s). Delivery 150/180 days ARO. FOB: Destination, U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Columbia, Maryland. All responsive and responsible firms may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency. Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU)-has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
