Description

HARLAN FUELS #2 RAMP Critical Area Reinforcement Project consist of (1) applying seed, fertilizer, lime and mulch to 6.25 acres of a previously reclaimed site, (2) the regrading of a previously closed acess road, which will allow access to portions of the site while seeding and mulching is being completed, (3) the application of lime and fertilizer to the remaining 17.4 acres, and (4) the installation of hay bales for erosion control. Project is located on Slaters Fork of Catrons Creek in the Gulston Community in Harlan County, Kentucky. Items of Work include: Pollution Control (2300 Lin. Feet); Vegetative Treatment, Fields 1a & 2c (1 JOB); Vegetative Treatment, Fields 1, 2a, & 2b (1 JOB); Mobilization (1 JOB); Excavation, Access Road (1 JOB). Prospective bidders, suppliers, and subcontractors may assemble for a pre-bid conference and group showing of the site on Wednesday, August 15, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. (EST) at the Natural Resources Conservation Service office, 167 Belkway Drive, Harlan, Kentucky 40831,(606)573-2838 for directions only). Estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Bid security will be required if offer is $100,000.00 or greater. If offer is less than $100,000.00 no bid security will be required, however alternative payment security must be provided by the successful offeror.
