Description

Estimated response due date is 09/10/01; issued pursuant to P.L. 100-656 Small Business Competitive Demo Program and is open to all size businesses. The estimated construction range is between $25,000 & $100,00; estimated start work date is 09/24/01. The work to be performed at Ft. Stanwix, National Monument, 112 East Park St., Rome, NY and includes demolition and disposal of 32,000 sq. ft. liquid asphalt-treated gravel trail and gravel sub-base. Construct trail by compacting subgrade, 8" thick gravel sub-base and crushed stone gravel 4" thick with liquid asphalt (HFMS-2). Compact to a density of not less than 95%. Regrade side slopes on both sides of trail for smooth drainage. Fertilize, mulch & seed (Agway Rome special grass mix).
