Description

The Army requires a construction contract for the Construction of an Addition and Renovations to the Jordan Gymnasium, complete in strict accordance with specifications and drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to, the following items; the addition is a steel frame structure with masonry and brick veneer building on a slab on grade. Interior finishes will be painted gypsum drywall on metal furring on CMU walls with brick veneer to match the remainder of the gymnasium, 2'x2' acoustical ceiling tiles, and resilient athletic flooring with the exception of the entry. Additional work will be to renovate the existing gymnasium including finishes, new sauna and whirlpool spa, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical service upgrades. Site work shall include relocation of rain leaders and some utilities. This acquisition is unrestricted. The SIC Code is 1751. The NAICS Code is 235510. The size standard is $11.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 and is SAF, "Subject to Availability of Funds." This solicitation will be posted on the Internet only.
