Description

Provide all supervision, plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work in connection with installation of gas heat and bathroom facilities in Building 4498. Scope of work includes installation of gas, sewer and water lines to include all site work, trenching, and excavation, installation of a new mechanical room and bathroom facilities to include new hot water boilers, a digital control system, new electric hot water heater, insulation of walls and ceilings, new exterior insulated steel doors and rollup doors, new electric hot water heater, new exterior lift station with submersible sewage pump, lighting and electrical work in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications, and drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The contract type shall be "Firm Fixed Price Construction". This procurement is Set-Aside for HUBZone concerns pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Subpart 19.13, Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZONE) Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 233320. This procurement is subject to availability of funds and is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about August 6, 2001. The DUE DATE for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drum's Web Page. All responsible HUBZONE small business concerns may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will not be mailed out and no Bidder's Mailing List (BML) will be maintained. The entire bid package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page, no hard copies will be provided. All sources wishing to bid are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the solicitation. Failure to respond to any amendments may render the bid to be considered as non-responsive and thereby rejected. The bids must be supplied in hard copy form to the Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY, no electronic bids will be accepted.
