Description

Lookout Campground Reconstruction. This project consists of drilling a new well, installing submersible pump and hypochlorinator box, generator, precast concrete building, trenching for electrical and waterline, storage tank with level controls, hydrants and waterline distribution system throughout campground and two 2-unit precast concrete vault toilet buildings. To locate site from Reno, Nevada, drive west on U.S. 80 approximately 12 miles to Verdi, Nevada. Turn right at Bridge Street and go over the Truckee River to Dog Valley Road. Take Dog Valley Road, Road 002, over Summit 1 to Lookout Campground about 13 miles (approximately 2 miles south east of Crystal Peak). Est. starting date is 10-30-01 with 180 calendar days for completion. Est. price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
