Description

The Department of the Army, Fort Stewart, GA requires a contract to Construct 1/3 ADA Motorpool Building. The work shall consist of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and performing all operations required in connection with Construct 1/3 ADA Motorpool Building, Fort Stewart, Georgia complete in strict accordance with specifications and drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract. The work includes but is not necessarily restricted to the following items: Provide site preparation including grading, paving and utility extensions to the new building. Provide engineered metal buildings and interior partitions and finishes as indicated on the drawings and in the technical specifications. Provide mechanical and electrical systems as indicated on the drawings and in the technical specifications. Provide 5-ton capacity bridge crane as indicated on the drawings and in the technical specifications. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The solicitation is being solicited on an unrestricted basis and is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS Code is 233320 and the size standard is $27.5 Million. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 08/06/01. The solicitation will provide the opportunity for bidders to submit an Invitation for Bid (IFB). Only offerors registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), online at http://www.ccr2000.com will be considered. The Performance Time is 270 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Solicitation is being issued subject to Availability of Funds. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered.
