Description

The Surge Project Office, Code PM53P, of the Sealift Program, Military Sealift Command Headquarters in Washington, D.C., seeks to acquire layberth services for four FAST SEALIFT SHIPS (FSS) (two lots) on the U.S. East Coast and U.S. Gulf for five years (a three year base period plus two one-year option periods) with performance periods beginning in 2001 through 2003. The layberth site locations will be restricted as follows: two FSSs (one lot) on the U.S. Atlantic coast, no further north than Narragansett Bay, RI; and two FSSs on the U.S. coast of the Gulf of Mexico, comprising of the states of TX, LA, MS, AL, and FL. Estimated RFP issuance is O/A 15 August 2001 with an anticipated closing date of 15 September 2001. Award is estimated in November 2001. MSC will no longer keep a Master Mailing List; all requirements will be posted to the CBD and the MSC Website for download.
