Description

This requirement is for the assessment, implementation, development, installation, test, documentation and support of changes to upgrade the AH-64D Longbow Apache Training Device Suite (TDS) with the Post Lot 4 Crew Station Upgrades, TACFIRE implementation (with the Lot 6 TDS configuration) and AMPS porting. The Government intends to award a modification to delivery order 0061 to contract DAAH23-98-G-0049 to sole source contractor McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, Mesa, AZ 85215-9797 under the authority and Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), only one source or a limited number of responsible sources are able to satisfy agency requirements. There is no technical data package and no solicitation will be issued. This is a follow-on requirement for the Longbow Apache requirement. Interested sources are encouraged to identify themselves in writing to the contracting officer. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency.
