Description

THE U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District intends to award a contract to Pan-American Engineering and Computing Services, LTD, Vancouver, British Columbia for on-going seismic evaluation of a large earth dam. The work will involve 2D dynamic finite element analysis utilizing TATA3 amd providing technical guaidance concerning evaluation of remedial measures. Other firms desiring consideration can submit SF254 and demonstrate specialized experience in the following areas: (1) computing post liquefaction deformations with time domain finite element analysis, (2) selection of parameters and numeric modeling of non-linear, strain softening geotechnical materials, and (3) liquefaction potential evaluation of both sands and fine grained materials and remediation of such materials. Contract amount is expected to be $25,000.00 to $50,000.00.
