Description

MAINTENANCE OF MARCONI EQUIPMENT AT THE NAVAL HOSPITAL, OAK HARBOR, WA. Services to include all parts, labor, and travel for performing two preventative maintenance calls and remedial services (excluding all x-ray tubes, image amplifiers, camera tubes, accessories, and consumables) for Marconi Equipment. The base period of performance shall be from 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002. Four 1-year option periods will also be evaluated and may be unilaterally exercised by the government. The government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price, requirements type contract under procedures for commercial services (FAR part 12) using simplified acquisition procedures (FAR 13.5). Prospective offerors not CCR registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil under "Business Opportunities" and solicitation number "N0040601R5208". The Government will distribute no hard copy solicitation or amendments. The Government will not mail, fax, or email the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted ONLY via the NECO website. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO website early and periodically for any solicitation amendments. Prospective offerors should not expect notification that an amendment has been issued. The NECO website is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the document posted on the reference website. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound.
