Description

The contractor shall, semi-annually inspect and maintain each of the listed exhaust units . Inspections and maintenance shall be made Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM. On all units during inspection, the contractor, shall examine, clean, adjust, and lubricate each exhaust unit. The contractor shall replace any broken or missing screws, or bolts on motor covers, motor mountings, and fan mounting hardware. After the maintenance is completed on all exhaust units, the contractor, shall check the flow rate of all Laboratory hood exhausts and provide a written report to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Measurement of the flow rate for the fume hoods shall be taken at the front of the hood opening at approximately the center. Measurement of the flow rate for the latrine exhaust systems shall be taken at the exhaust grille. Measurement of the flow rate at chase exhaust fans shall be taken at the discharge on the roof. Flow rate shall be measured and reported in linear feet per minute. Laterile exhaust grille shall be removed and cleaned at each inspection. This acquistion is a one hundred per cent (100%) set-aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) for this procurement is 1711 and the Small Business size is $7.0 mil. The Government anticipate awarding a single firm fixed price contract for a base year and two option years. The Solicitation is available only on our web site www3.natick.army.mil .
