Description

The contractor shall provide analytical, technical, and administrative assistance to Army Research Laboratory to further the Ballistic Tilt Table Program. A study for the construction and design of the Ballistic Tilt Table is required to support both Live Fire Test and Evalustion and component/subsystem development testing and to evaluate the performance of U.S. and other weapon systems in a realistic operational environment. It is the intent of the Government to award a contract on a sole source basis to MTS Systems Corporation, Eden Prairie, Minnesota pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solict and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intend is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Quotes may be faxed to (410) 278-6972.
