- Description
- The Division of Acquisition Management has a requirement for The Agency for Health Care Quality and Research (AHCQ), Center for Cost and Financing Studies (CCFS). The purpose of the seminars is to both facilitate use of public use data files and demonstrate the interrelationships among the databases. The three days will involve in depth information, and demonstration exercises as appropriate, of selected databases/other relevant resources. AHRQ will make two separate presentations on how to facilitate the use of both its Medical Expenditure Panel Survey Household Component (MEPS HC) and Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP): A Federal-State-Industry Partnership in Health Data, providing practical information about the surveys' design and file content, and the construction and merging of analytic files by data users. The Government knows of only one source, Academy for Health Services Research and Health Policy (AHSRHP), Washington, DC. This proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify, in writing, their interest and capability to respond to the requirement for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
