Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a Request for Quotes. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This is a small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 334516. Small Business size standards is 500 people. Furnish 4 nephelometers which meet the following standards: 1) Provides PM 2.5 mass concentrations, particle size distributions (mean size), visual range, and scattering coefficient; 2) Capable of correcting mass concentrations for humidity and particle size; 3) Has internal temperature and humidity sensors; 4) Has dual wavelength mass concerntration measurement technique; 5) Must have internal battery. Delivery date is 30 days after award. FAR Provision 52.212-1 and 52.212-2 and any addendums applies to this acquisition. Evaluation criteria are as follows: Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Price. Interested parties shall submit product literature regarding the product they are offering including warranty information, 3 references (past customers) and their phone numbers and prices. Quoters are adivsed to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 with it's offer. FAR Provision 52.212-4 any any addendums applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-5 and any addendums applies to this acquisition. Any additional contract requirement(s) or terms and conditions determined by the contracting officer that are necessary for this acquisition are consistent with customary commercial practices.
