Description

Amendment Number Two (2) to SSA-RFQ-01-0282 The purpose of this amendment is to amend the solicitation and also to extend the due date and time for receipt of RFQ responses. PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT Amend the third to last sentence to read: The air space surrounding the collection bin of the PB Y190 Trimmer/Vacuum unit will be the only finishing system component that will require air filtration. FILTRATION/CLEANING REQUIREMENTS -- GENERAL Amend the first sentence to read: Contractor installed filtration equipment may be self-contained or installed using above ceiling ductwork. The following sentence is to be inserted following the first sentence: The floor of the production facility is concrete slab. FINISHING CONFIGURATION Amend the first sentence to read: Provide air space filtration where the PB Y190 Trimmer/Vacuum units are located. AIR CLEANING -- MAIN PRODUCTION AREA FILTRATION Amend the first sentence to read: Contractor installed filtration equipment may be self-contained or installed using above ceiling ductwork. The following sentence is to be inserted following the first sentence: The floor of the production facility is concrete slab. SOCIAL SECURITY CARD PRODUCTION AREA FILTRATION Amend the first sentence to read: Contractor installed filtration equipment may be self-contained or installed using above ceiling ductwork. The following sentence is to be inserted following the first sentence: The floor of the production facility is concrete slab. PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS Amend the first sentence to read: Contractor equipment may be installed at ceiling level or floor mounted. The following sentence is to be inserted following the first sentence: Floor mounted equipment shall not require more than 16 square feet of floor space. Accordingly, the closing date and closing time of the solicitation shall be changed to no later than 3:00 p.m., local prevailing time on Tuesday, July 24, 2001.
