Description

This acquisition includes, but is not limited to furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, transportation, equipment, services, and incidental necessary to repair or replace components of the large hangar doors. This project includes the doors for Hangers T (facility 1739) and Y (facility 01115). Work will include the abatement of lead (use of needle jet is permitted) and asbestos along with repair of rails, rollers, panels, door stops, man-doors, windows, hand-wheels, and steel frames. Period of performance is 120 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Solicitation issue date of 7 August 2001 and closing date of 6 September 2001 are tentative. The applicable SIC Code is 1542. The NAICS code is 233310. The small business size standard is $17 Million. The estimated range of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the 45th Space Wing. AVAILABILITY OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE LIMITED TO ELECTRONIC MEDIUM ONLY. AWARD WILL NOT BE MADE UNTIL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO MAKE PAYMENTS UNDER A CONTRACT.
