Description

Construction of the Phase II of Site 3C, Truth or Consequences/Williamsburg Arroyos Watershed Project, located in Sierra County, New Mexico. The project consists of installing a reinforced concrete principal spillway riser inlet structure, approximately 1,886 feet of 30 -- inch diameter ASTM C-76 pipe, three reinforced concrete triple barrel box culverts, three reinforced concrete drop structures, and approximately 4,644 cubic yards of rock riprap as channel lining. Approximately 261,000 cubic yards of excavation will be required and approximately 60,500 cubic yards of earthfill is to be placed. Trench shoring is required. Approximately 575 cubic yards of concrete and 99,200 pounds of reinforcing steel is to be installed. The performance period is 430 calendar days. The price range is $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. There will be a site showing on August 21, 2001, at the Sierra Soil and Water Conservation District office in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
