Description

Construct a 33,000 SF Readiness Center and an adjacent Vehicle Maintenance Building for the South Carolina Army National Guard near the entrance to the Marine Air Corp Station on U.S. Highway 21, north of Beaufort, SC. Work will consist of two single story buildings and related site work. Site work includes grading, paving, storm water retention and utilities, including extension of water and forced main sewer lines for connection on Marine Air Station property. Building construction will consist of footings, concrete slabs, load bearing masonry walls, steel bar joists and steel truss roof construction, membrane and standing seam metal roofs. The Vehicle Maintenance Building will be a pre-engineered steel structure. Exterior walls will consist of EIFS and masonry veneer. Interior partitions of both buildings will be concrete block. Windows will be aluminum storefront with insulated glass. Work will include HVAC, plumbing, electrical lighting and power, installation of contractor and owner supplied kitchen equipment, and all interior finishes. This is an unrestricted procurement; open to any size business. NAICS code 23332 (SIC 1542) applies to this project. Estimated price range is from $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. A firm fixed price construction contract is contemplated. Contract specifications and drawings will be supplied in CD Rom format only.
