Description

Road Reconditioning on the Sawtooth National Forest. This project consists of roadway and parking area surface preparation, watering and applying contractor- furnished dust palliative to approximately 55 kiometers of roadway from 3.7 meters to 7.3 meters in width and approximately 12,750 square meters of parking area. Also included in this contract is the preparation, watering and application of contractor-furnished dust palliative to approximately 12,000 square meters of parking area surfaces. There are 21 sites located on the Burley/Twin Falls District, the Ketchum Ranger District and the Sawtooth National Recreation Area on the Sawtooth National Forest. The clearing of 3 kilometers of roadway on the Iron Creek segment is included. The Porcupine Campground portion of this contract is located 27 miles south of Hansen, Idaho on Forest Service Road #515. The Pettit Lake, Stanley Lake and Alturas Lake portions of this contact are located near Stanley, Idaho. The Boundary Campground, Murdock Campground, North Fork Campground, Easley Campground and Boulder View Campground portions of this contract are located near Ketchum, Idaho. The Deer Creek Road, Greenhorn Road, Corral Creek Road, Adams Gulch Road, Lake Creek Road, North Fork Wood River Road, Baker Creek Road and Prairie Creek Road portions of this contract are located near Ketchum, Idaho. The Upper Pensteman, Lower Pensteman, and Petit Campground portions of this contract are located 25 miles south of Hansen, Idaho on Forest Service Road #515. Est. starting date 09-15-2001 to be completed by 06-15-2002. Est. price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
