NOTICE TO INCLUDE SOLE SOURCE COMPANENTS IN A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT.NOTICE TO INCLUDE A SOLE SOURCE COMPONENT IN A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Building 103 project located in Poolesville, md. This item is FRP Doors and statinless steel framing system by Special-Lite. The door system manufactured by Special-Lite has met and exceeded all requirements and criteria for installation in Animal Care Facilities as mandated by the American Association for Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) regulations. Specialite has refined the door system to meet the specific needs of NIH's animal facilities. The doors have become an integral part of the NIH pest management program and therefore eliminate maintenance and replacement expenses. Detailed requirements of the above system will be provided in the construction documents when they are issued. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THE SOLICITATION FOR THE BUILDING 103 PROJECT WILL BE ISSUED AT A LATER DATE. See Note 22."
