Description

The Army requires a contract to furnish wireless digital radio, cellular telephone, and pager services for the Directorate of Public works DPW) at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, and instrumentation required. The contractor shall provide local access communications service for Southeast Georgia. Specifically the area bounded by the following Georgia cities: Savannah, Brunswick, Valdosta, Albany, Columbus, Macon, and Augusta. Long Distance radio and telephone charges shall not apply within the local area. Unlimited radio airtime, telephone, and paging service. The contractor shall provide a 225 minutes cellular telephone package for a selected number of radios. Services shall begin 1 September 2001 and continue through 31 August 2002 with two (2) one (1) year options to extend the term of the contract. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 513322. The size standard is 1,500 employees. This solicitation will be posted on the Internet only. No hard copies will be available.
