Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC and perpared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) document subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. Solicitation number F31610-01-Q0400 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The government intends to issue a purchase order for painting Aerospace Ground Equipment. No partial quotes will be considered. Please acknowledge all items on the quotations (see attached). The provisions and clauses applicable to this purchase order are included. NAICS CODE: 811121 Quotes must be valid for 30 calendar days after the due date of this RFQ. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on 17 July 2001 on the Government's Electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available. A site visit will be conducted for this solicitation. Date for site visit will be 25 July at 0900hrs. All contractors interested, please call 4th Contracting Squadron POC prior to site-visit.
