- Description
- J -- The VA Connecticut Healthcare System (VA), has a requirement for maintenance services for a scanner, manufactured by Positron Corporation, 1304 Langham Creek #300, Houston, TX 77084 (281-492-7100). The system consists of a camera, head and table assembly. Positron Model POSICAM. Scope of work is as follows: 1.) Provide at least once a month scheduled preventive maintenance visits, by factory trained representative(s). Maintenance will include OEM released software updates. If not a factory trained representative, Contractor provide credentials of similar training for review and approval by the VA. 2.) Provide credentials of factory trained representative(s) or other credentials as referenced in Paragraph 1. Representatives shall conform to all OSHA requirements for Hospital Employees, and shall clearly display a picture identification card at all times. 3.) Provide emergency and regular repair service coverage from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. 4.) Replace all defective parts and components as required for emergency and regular repair and preventive maintenance service calls. 5.) Provide signed vendor service reports. Upon completion of each, call Nuclear Medicine technician. 6.) Vendor services shall meet standards of JCAHO, the OEM company, and other accrediting bodies as well as quality assurance criteria. 7.) Repairs, parts and preventive maintenance included in base cost of contract on the Positron system. Contractor is expected to travel to the facility for base cost of contract without additional compensation for travel time, over-time or mileage. Contractor to be available to service specific machines on emergency call basis within four hours on a normal business day.
