YEAR 2000 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ITEMS. (a)All Information Technology items shall be year 2000 compliance, or non-compliance items shall be upgraded at no additional cost to the Government to be year 2000 compliant by no later than December 31, 1999. (b)Year 2000 compliance means Information Technology that accurately processes date/time (including, but not limited to calculating, comparing, and sequencing) from, into, and between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, and the years 1999 and 2000 and leap year calculations, furthermore, year 2000 compliance Information Technology, when used in combination with other Information Technology, shall accurately process date/time data if the other Information Technology property exchanges date/time data with it.(End of Clause).
