Description

The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the University of Maryland for Economic Consulting Services for Determining Consumer Preferences for Eco-Labeled Seafood. The work requires a Principal Investigator who has expertise in the areas of hedonic analysis, seafood demand and survey design. Dr. Kenneth E. McConnell is the only Principal Investigator who has expertise in all three areas. The period of performance will be two years. NO SOLICITATION package is available. Any interested firms must submit clear and convincing written data to the attention of Ms. P.L. Artis at the header address. The Government reserves the right not to open this requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice. See numbered Note 22.
